on the tech side... shooting a black dog in white snow would be good practice for a wedding photog, no?

Thanks Charlie, I think I would rather shoot black dogs in white snow any day rather than weddings.

And very, very dangerous. * - - - - - - *MOTB... mother of the bride

Nice series Chris. My Pom likes to run in it, then lay down, and rub his nose in it. Doesn't interest me, but he sure enjoys it.
I seen on the news that you guys got hammered with that storm, we only got about 1 1/2", we need more.

Makes me wonder what kind of Winter we are going to have. That's surprising that you only got that much snow, I thought that storm made it farther North.

Here are a few of our "Children" enjoying the 8+ inches of snow we got a few days ago. I don't like the snow, but they sure do. Great series Chris, it's good to see the dogs having fun like this. I'll never be able to reproduce this situation though.... LOL

Wow, they're having a good old time and you caught all the action. And... your white balance is smack on the money.

The WB was set on auto, but I used a trick I learned from the forum; set the exposure compensation to +.7- +1 and it takes the grey away.
