James posted a tall tree pic the other day well okay it's not a tree but it's what you'd expect to find in the city... It's a street sign beside a small gas bar and convenience mall (a little late in the day for sunlight and too early for the lights to be turned on)

LOL... an image of our modern urban jungle, eh? I like it. What... were you lying on your back in the parking lot? I particularly like the perspective with a slight tip to the right (and doesn't business/consumerism lean to the right?). It seems to be pointing to something but unfortunately there is nothing above it (i.e. Boeing Dreamliner).

Wells meets P.T. Barnum

I'm a guy who loves his lines. And I love the lines (hydro) leading from the "monster" in all directions. But when you pause to think about it, this sort of marketing is really a blight on our environment.

I like lines too. but you wanna see blight? here's blight... on the corner of Steeles and Yonge (their prices must be great) camera phone pic

Wow... that is just nasty. BUT... I'm glad you included the surrounding scene to give it some perspective. I wonder if the inside is a gaudy as the exterior?

"I wonder if the inside is a gaudy as the exterior?" good question James.. next time you're in town, you can go in and have a look around for us.

Steeles and Yonge don't have a corner on graffiti. Here's how they do it elsewhere:

Steeles and Yonge don't have a corner on graffiti. Here's how they do it elsewhere: painting all that must be a lot of work... and expense, for what? You can't even read nor understand what these jokers are saying... at least back in the day, I could understand the insult. that's quite the pic... everything is in focus. How'd you do that?

The mighty C663 did it. An awesome little gem, isn't it.
