Bob, your pics remind of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings. BTW do you grow these beauties?

Love the delicate nature and color of these beauties. You know... I don't really think much about flowers. I love them but for some reason I've generally passed them by when photographing landscapes. I'm going to have to change my ways.

I agree with you, Bob... photography is not only "kinda fun" but it keeps us moving and as we age we dare not stop moving, eh?! LOL

LOL on moving around as we get older james. The lake witch is about 10 miles from where i live.It has a loop or trail that goes all the way aroung the lake. It's four miles and that's my stomping grounds.I see Deer and hear wild Hogs once in a while.I haven't seen any yet but i see where they are rooting around.I also have to bathe in insect repellent during the summer. Also i've never been stung by a bee i hold my ground and dont move much.I really injoy it out there Cheers Bob.

It sounds like the ideal tramping ground. We live just a couple of miles from the Coastal Mountains but I would not want to venture in there - wolves, bears, coyotes... not my cup of tea. Most of our local shooting will have to be along the ocean.
