I've already got a mirrorless SLR in the form of a Sony A57 and it's like a big DX6490 (with a added spirit level) looking through the viewfinder. I can't say that I've heard anything on this hybrid photography, I'll have a poke around their site to find out more.

Very, very interesting. I have a Nikon D3100 with the kit lens and a prime so I'm not heavily committed to the dslr scene. The video was very revealing. I'm sure a lot of pro photogs (i.e. Jarod Polin) would be pissed to hear these words. I'll have to look into this in more detail. Thanks for the information.

Lots Olympus users have been asking this question for several years now. I think Oly is on their 3rd? generation of mirrorless DSLRs, with rave reviews. The latest OMD1 is about the size of the E620, weather sealed, and can use all of the 4/3s glass. Some say it's even better than the E5. Yea, I am thinking of getting this camera.

Heading back to Hawaii so I'm afraid this is too rich for my blood. Besides, I don't take pictures with the gear I have now. LOL However... it sure looks like a great system.
