So with all this talk of snow heading to the south-east (UK), i thought a winter photo was in order.shot on a nikon D40 with cross processing added. Settings used in this shot: Aperture: f/4.5 Shutter speed: 1/80 sec. ISO200 Focal Length: 70mm (105. 35mm equivalent)

Very nice. Love the bokeh effect. That clinging lifeless leaf reminds me of an arrowhead. What are the vertical lines in the background?

Thanks james. I love me some bokeh err I believe those lines are from a big metal fence.

Great shot, our Winter weather has arrived this week end and we have cold, wind, snow and ice. Lovely, I can't wait till Spring.

nice to meet you, my name is Charlie. you've got a cracker of a pic there... certainly it ain't cluttered but it sure is carefully composed. (nice) and oh that blue makes it look so c-o-l-d brrrrrrrr neat crystals on that leaf..kinda gives your pic that little element more to make the photo really grab our notice.
