Lin and I visited Genesee Country Village a while back. I liked the patterns in this image. Taken with my trusty Kodak DX7590.

Taken with my trusty Kodak DX7590. instantly made me think of a certain 6 water pots from a certain Jewish wedding that we've all read about... that shadow is quite distinctive eh? it's an interesting find...good catch there James.

Thanks, Charlie. Granted, the bottom is a bit burned out but on the whole, I liked the image. Your reference to Cana and of course Calvary is very clever. I'd like to take credit for having seen this but in truth I didn't. Thanks for pointing it out. You're always wide awake, Charlie.

You're always wide awake, Charlie. the bottom a bit burned out you say? it just seemed to be in bright sunshine ... didn't think of it being over exposed. Man you are picky, picky, picky. "I'd like to take credit for having seen this but in truth I didn't.|" you're nothing like a poet who when asked if they meant to include such a such meaning in a line of their poem, when they didn't, might just say, "oh ummm, yes, yes I did" besides... there were just to jugs here and another big jar... so I was forcing the analogy again. (bad habit of mine)

What a beautiful picture, James. I don't think it could have been any better with a million dollar camera. I love the DX7590.

Thx, Chris. The 7590 will always be one of Kodak's better offerings. I still use it.

LOL... were you living in pioneer times, Bob? Whenever Lin and I travel, we always keep an eye out for pioneer villages (i.e. in Canada we've visited Upper Canada Pioneer Village and Black Creek Pioneer Village; in Mass. we've visited Shaker Village and Sturbridge and in New York State the one pictured above: Genesee Country Village). I'm not sure why but maybe there's something about the simplicity of those times that speaks to both of us.
